One day in September Paul asked if Edward's engine rebuild would be finished in time for April - this was the first we heard that he was getting married. What a lovely surprise.
We have been lucky with the weather - it has been sunny and warm today. Edward and I parked up in a strategic spot at the Leatherhead registry office by the front door. Viv arrived in a very nice blue and silver Silver Shaddow - not the usual tired example, this one was superb. After the ceremony we did some fun shots - Paul dressed in gangster kit with violin case, trilby and Viv in flapper dress with cigarette holder. Then it was off to the reception at the back of Epsom via a photo shoot in front of City of London Freeman's School in Ashtead. We kept the hood up to protect Viv's hair - but stopped about half a mile from the hotel to get ready for a BIG arrival. Viv and Paul sipped champers whilst I put the hood down, we checked if the guests were all ready, and then arrived in style. the front of the hotel had all the guests waiting for us - they all cheered and covered them in confetti. A lovely day.
Andy came along to pick up Edward so I could stay on and have a few drinks too!
